Sales Support Associate

Reporting directly to the Sales Support Supervisor, the Sales Support Associate will deliver excellent customer service for all sales channels across the Metronet footprint. This individual will work with internal and external sales professionals to ensure their success by offering assistance and guidance based on the needs of their customers. The Sales Support Associate will also work directly with Metronet customers on assigned tasks with a priority of improving the customer experience. Seeking an individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment and can work independently.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Assist and guide all Sales Associates (Retail, Door-to-Door, Reseller, MDU, etc.), while networking with other key departments to ensure a streamlined operation is maintained.
  • Assist with Reseller Partner Processes and Implementation, while supporting sales scheduling efforts (New Sales, Pre-Sales, Rescheduling) for all Sales Channels
  • Advise associates and customers using Metronet's products and services
  • Effective in retention efforts and processes
  • Maintain Personal Quotas, Customer Satisfaction Goals, and Availability Rates as assigned by Sales Support Supervisor
  • Communicate courteously with customers and fellow associates
  • Maintain accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers and associates
  • Produce written information for customers, often involving the use of computer packages and software
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Metronet's products and offers, competitors and progress of new-market builds
  • Perform other duties as assigned


JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:



  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Communication skills that allow you to inform, help and mentor associates clearly and to liaise effectively with other professionals, vendors, and cross-functional associates
  • Listening skills, to understand exactly what customers require
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Confidence, patience, politeness, tact and diplomacy, when dealing with difficult situations
  • Creative thinking, to be able to come up with new ideas to improve sales support techniques, strategy, and customer service standards
  • An ability to work well under pressure
  • Available to work non-traditional hours when deemed necessary
