Department Information
Stamps Health Services is an outpatient ambulatory care center that provides health care and health education to students and their spouses/domestic partners. The center is located in a state-of-the-art, 40,000-square-foot facility within the Joseph Brown Whitehead Building, next to our Campus Recreation Center. Stamps Health Services provides care in six areas: Primary care, women's health, Psychiatry, Travel/Immunization/Allergy, Pharmacy, and Diagnostic Services (lab and radiology).

Job Summary

Coordinate and manage the daily administration and operations of an assigned practice within Stamps Health Services (SHS), in accordance with SHS, Institute and state/federal regulatory
requirements ensuring compliance.This position will interact on a regular basis with: staff, students and visitors. This position typically will advise and counsel: staff, students and visitors.
This position will supervise: NA.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Lead and coordinate activities related to the daily operations of assigned practice within Stamps Health Services (SHS), in accordance with SHS, Institute and state/federal regulatory requirements

Job Duty 2 -
Monitor and ensure efficient patient scheduling ensuring compliance with SHS, Institute and state/federal regulatory requirements

Job Duty 3 -
Manage office system implementation, equipment procurement, and other operations changes as necessary

Job Duty 4 -
Assess and evaluate performance measures and provide recommendations for technology integration to improve and/or maintain efficiency and cost effectiveness

Job Duty 5 -
Develop and implement standardized office policies and procedures to improve and/or maintain efficiency and cost effectiveness. Demonstrate commitment to organizational goals and to the improvement of patient care

Job Duty 6 -
Provide care to patients, and directly assist providers in treating patients. Administer select medications applying the Six Rights of Medication

Job Duty 7 -
Real time adjustment of appointment schedules and patient triage

Job Duty 8 -
Real time adjustment of appointment schedules and patient triage.

Job Duty 9 -
Place orders for individual medical devices. Order, check and maintain clinic supplies.
Maintain an order tracking system and provide patients and providers with status updates.

Job Duty 10 -
Interface with outside Medical entities for facilitation of referrals and transfer of medical
records and reports.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Other Required Qualifications
Certification, License or Permits:

o Certified Medical Assistant
o Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support

Required Experience
Two to three years of job related experience.
A working knowledge of common gynecologic presentations and procedures (pap collection, colposcopy, contraceptive implant, IUD).

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience:
Experience working with a young adult patient population.
Higher education health setting.

Salary range: $23.00-$25.00 / hourly
