Please Read We are hiring for Full-Time Campus Security Officer at St Ambrose University in Davenport, IA. Shift assigned and days off to be determined. However, *the schedule will consist of working weekends* . Must be able to walk long distances, work outdoors in all weather conditions, have a site acceptable driving record with a valid drivers license, and pass a state criminal history check. $17.50/hr. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Monitor campus to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules - Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security - Warn violators of campus policies, rules, and regulations. - Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts - Report any facility issues - Request emergency personnel for high risk situations -Additional duties as assigned Qualifications: 18 years of age or older Familiarity with security equipment. Some familiarity with St. Ambrose university a plus. Ability to handle physical nature of the position Strong attention to detail Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability. Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
