Your appointment is expressly contingent upon the course section(s) meeting minimum student enrollment requirements as determined by the University. While the University makes every effort to plan course schedules according to anticipated demand, course section enrollments and curricular priorities may change. The University reserves the right to cancel a course at any time. In the event that a section or course is cancelled for any reason prior to the first class session, your appointment to teach that section will be rescinded. If the course cancellation occurs less than seven calendar days prior to the first class session, and if the University is unable to offer you reassignment to a comparable class, the University shall compensate you $250 with the exception of those graduate courses that constitute thesis supervision.
