The Fixed Asset Project Manager develops and implements project management strategies, plans, documentations, communication, tracking tools and reports that are utilized by team members and senior leaders in the organization. Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Ensure goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within time and scope.

Responsibilities

Principal Accountabilities & Deliverables

Comprehensive Project Planning

    Develop detailed project plans specifically related to the management, tracking, additions, and disposals of fixed assets at the various campuses
  • Develop and maintain project management tracking tools and documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and relevant project artifacts that are utilized by senior leaders in the organization
  • Lead project management functions for Fixed Asset teams to deliver highly scalable and flexible solutions to support growth and diversification strategies
  • Manage relationships with campuses in order to have open communication of fixed asset related updates or changes
  • Facilitate kick off meetings, project planning, and solutioning meetings

Project Management, Ownership, Tools and Documentation

  • Develop and maintain tracking tools and documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and relevant artifacts for senior leaders
  • Define and monitor key metrics and prepares status reports and dashboards to keep stakeholders informed
  • Propose enhancements to existing programs based on project insights
  • Evaluate project outcomes and gather feedback from stakeholders to identify areas for improvement
  • Proactively address challenges to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes, including successful mitigation of control issues around this aspect of the accounting process
  • Track and escalate issues
  • Identify potential risks and issues associated with projects and recommend mitigation plans

Effective Communication and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and success criteria
  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and ensure alignment with organizational goals


Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems Management, Project Management or related field - or- 6 years project management experience including 2 years leading business partners and various stake holders (required)
  • Minimum of two years project management experience and experience leading business partners and various stake holders (required)
  • PMP or equivalent Project Management certification (plus)
  • Intermediate experience using Office productivity software (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint), MS Project and Teams, to include document formatting, organization, collaboration and review, data management, formulas, functions and pivot tables/charts, and presentation development, inclusive of multimedia, links and embedded collateral (required)

Skills

  • Foster positive relationships with key stakeholders to ensure support and commitment to project objectives
