Job Purpose

Overview of cost center responsibilities: Position leads a team that is responsible for product management, support and system training for the Interactive Network (iN) and FieldLink portals. iN is a suite of 12 dealer communication portals consisting of 1,700+ applications. Both domestic and export dealers/distributors (5900+) use iN daily to send and receive critical communication to/from Honda. Unique portals exist for each of AHM and HdM brands including Honda auto, Acura, Power Sports (PSP), PE, Marine and Engine. Over 100,000 users from every dealer business area (e.g. sales, service, finance etc.) and 3,000+ Honda Motor Company associates use iN to support their business. FieldLink (FL) is AHM's field portal designed to support sales, parts and service personnel from all AHM divisions. The portal provides users with a window into the daily operations of their assigned dealerships. FieldLink is used daily by DM's, field management and national staff to access dealer level reports and critical business information.

Job Role: The position is responsible for managing three (3) associates and six (6) contingent staff to ensure that iN and FieldLink are working properly on a daily basis. Team's major areas of responsibilities include product management and communication for all iN & FieldLink portals, iN Integration with DMS systems, development & deployment of all iN system training & support documentation, iN dealer set-up & administration as well as business ownership of critical iN applications (i.e. Dashboard, eMall, Model Color Matrix etc.)


Key Accountabilities

  • Manage Technical Communications to ensure consistent and timely communications across the entire enterprise
  • Lead the redesign of iN and FieldLink portals to a new platform with a modern, responsive design and enhanced functionality.
  • Collaborate with IT on initiatives and help establish project priorities
  • Proactively follow through with stakeholders and dealers iN and FieldLink on the system business needs for their unit/dept/div/BU
  • Ensure that dealers, corresponding advisory boards, stakeholders, iN vendors & iN IT teams are kept informed about enhancements, standards, technical requirements and changes to the supported portals
  • Develop & ensure maintenance of brand standards, policies & procedures to ensure the smooth operation of both portals



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Information Technology, Communications, or BA/BS in another area with relevant experience
  • Extensive experience with auto, motorcycle, power equipment and or marine dealer operations
  • Strong understanding of information technology and mobile technology
  • Management experience
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and support multiple projects at once
