Job Purpose

The primary mission of this position is to lead and support activities related to equipment characteristic improvements for all departments at the TMP-OH Site.

Key Accountabilities

Manufacturing Equipment Expertise:

* Analyze / evaluate equipment failures/inefficiencies and develop, implement, and measure effectiveness of countermeasures

* Ascertain hidden equipment failures and develop path-forward countermeasures

* Identify preventative and predictive equipment needs

* Lead, support and Perform root cause analysis

* Lifecycle management of manufacturing equipment. (Spare Parts, Procedures, PMs & Job Plans)

Project Management:

* Define and create scope of design and construction for renovation, upgrade of existing systems, or for build of a new system with a focus on cost control. Conduct PDCA during design and implementation stage. Create, implement and maintain project schedules and achieve desired results.

* Review, verify and approve electrical & mechanical engineering drawings for new equipment, processes and technology and participate in equipment FMEA activity during design phase.

* Analyze equipment operations to minimize potential contribution to failure

* Analyze computerized maintenance management system (CMMS-Maximo) for the following:

o Equipment failure frequencies

o Repair/Replenish

o Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)/Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF)

o Perform equipment repair vs replace decision analysis

o Perform critical equipment analysis.

New Technology:

* Use manufacturing expertise to support company's direction of new processes. Implement the use of asset condition management tools and IOT.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications

Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical or related field or equivalent experience.

Minimum Experience

A minimum of 2-8 years manufacturing experience based on education

Other Job-Specific Skills

Understanding of process and department process flow

Maximo entry knowledge and experience

Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) skillset

Ability to interact in a team environment

Working Conditions

Work at the spot, in the factory

50% Office environment, 50% Production Floor environment

About 2 weeks of travel domestic and international and 5-10 hours of OT per week
