Job Purpose

Serve as the ERS Reliability Maximo lead who is responsible for leading the execution of Asset Management and Reliability best practices within PEBU. Provide expertise to the region to allow them to maximize the functionality of the Maximo system and support their decisions for Assets from design to decommissioning. As a regional lead, work with the LO SME Leads towards common PM formats, execution, and optimization. Interface between LO SME and Regional Maximo systems team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the development and support for managing and recording the work done on production equipment including PM's, Breakdown and Projects in the Maximo system, this includes the core Maximo data for Assets and ensuring commonization on like for like Assets for maintenance strategies deployed.
  • Assist the region in deploying best practices and methods that includes planning, scheduling, executing, documenting, and closing of work performed on production equipment to ensure there is good data for future analysis.
  • Develop and deliver Work Execution Management processes and methods workshops to teach the methods and processes using the tools available at Honda
  • Work effectively within Production Engineering team in the use of the tools, methods, and processes to evaluate Production Equipment performance and design
  • Benchmark best practices in Work Execution Management and incorporate into the processes and methods that will be used at Honda
  • Develop and generate Maximo Change Requests to align Maximo to support the Reliability Engineering processes and methods to make a sustainable data driven tool
  • Support and develop Business Planning process and budgeting for Reliability Engineering Process and Methods
  • Present improvement proposals, process, and method changes to the ERS Committee meeting for feedback, support, and consensus

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Technical college/degree (minimum associates degree or equivalent), Equipment Service/Engineering training program or military technical training
  • 6+ years of maintenance or engineering experience & 2 years in a leadership role w/degree
  • 8+ years experience with relevant responsibilities
  • Must have a current industry certification minimum CRL or equivalent. (i.e. CMRP, CMRT, CAMA)
  • MS Office, Understanding of Asset Management practices and KPI's that measure Maintenance strategy value
  • Using strong communication and presentation skills be able to provide asset management and reliability subject matter expertise and strategic direction across the NA Honda sites.
  • Planning and Scheduling experience and knowledge
  • PM and Job plan development experience and knowledge
  • MRO practices knowledge
  • Maximo EAM experience

Workstyle

  • 90% office, 10% production floor (go to the spot)
  • Travel to plants for training and support
  • Hybrid position, preferred Ohio site
