Job Purpose

Overall lead for Planning, Data, Supply Chain Operations, and Transportation Functions for the assigned project. This role will interface with the American Honda Sales Operations Team, Other Project Team Functions, Frame / Power-train factories, and Regional Supply Chain leaders. Lead the development of the business and data strategies related to innovating the processes and systems used to; Receive AH CBU orders, build and maintain the factory production / part order schedule (based on supplier/factory capacity), monitor production progress towards achievement of established Completely- built-up ETA to dealer, day to day Supply Chain Operations, and Management of a lean / reactive Transportation Network.

Key Accountabilities



  • Overall Production Linefunctions for the assigned project
  • Data and Business Strategy Development
  • Lead / Facilitate System and Process Design for all Supply ChainFunctional Areas
  • Lead / facilitate Change Management as a result of Value Chain Transformation
  • Identify and set direction for BEV / CX specific Supply Chain Transformation
  • Engage extended Projectteam to drive Value and Revenue Generation


Qualifications, Experience and Skills



  • BACHELORS DEGREE WITH 10 YEARS EXPERIENCE OR MINIMUM 12 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
  • 10+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH BA DEGREE OR 12+ YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNING AND CONTROL FUNCTIONS
  • KNOWLEDGE OF SEIHAN PROCESS AND SYSTEMS, GENERAL UNDERSTANDING OF MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT AND PROCESSES, SIX SIGMA / LEAN MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE, PC SKILLS, INTERPERSONAL SKILLS, TECHNICAL SKILLS, EFFECTIVE WRITTEN AND ORAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND MATH SKILLS. THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF SUPPLY CHAIN FUNCTIONS INCLUDING PRODUCTION CONTROL OPERATIONS, PART ORDERING, AND TRANSPORTATION. CAN EFFECTIVELY WORK ACROSS MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS/PEOPLE


Workstyle



  • Hybrid
  • Daily Shift (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)
  • Daily overtime required as necessary
  • Travel 10%
