Budget Analyst BMD

Description:

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Secret clearance. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $55 - $65 / hr. w2

• Provide program management and acquisition support for Project Manager Tactical Network, Business Management Division (BMD).
• Formulate, present, and execute annual operating budgets and multi-year budget estimates.
• Compile narrative and statistical material for program briefings and prepare necessary budget documents.
• Monitor the execution of the approved operating budget to ensure proper allocation and timely expenditure of funds.
• Exercise budget controls through review and approval of obligations and expenditures, including personnel salaries, travel, and expenses.
• Develop justification and impact statements for forecasting obligations and recommend adjustments within budget line items.
