Description Description RHD Connecticut (CT) is looking for Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to work in the area of Trumbull, Monroe, Oxford and North Branford. There are currently Full-Time, Part-Time and Per Diem positions available. 1st shift starting at 6am, 2nd shift 2pm-12am, and overnight shifts 10pm-9am, The Direct Support Professional is responsible for safety and supervision of our consumers with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities, Behavioral health histories to facilitate healthy and socially acceptable behaviors while living in community-based sites. This position will coordinate with clinical staff, implement residentially based interventions and assist the clients in achieving their clinical assignments. The DSP is responsible for fulfilling the obligations as outlined in the client's program plan. The DSP will prompt or assist, as necessary, to ensure the clients participate in the activities of daily living, in both the home and the community. Requirements Requirements
RHD Connecticut provides residential community living arrangements, day services, and individual rehabilitative supports to people who have developmental disabilities in the West and South regions in Connecticut. Currently RHD CT operates 10 CLAs, Continuous Residential Support programs and supports individuals who reside in apartments in the community.
