Job Summary:
This position is for a clinical faculty member in audiology and includes supervisory and teaching responsibilities within the doctor of audiology program. The UW Speech and Hearing Clinic (UWSHC) is in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. The department has an undergraduate program, a master's program in speech-language pathology, Au.D. program, and a Ph.D. program. Responsibilities: This position is for a short-term clinical faculty member in the department to teach CS&D 891 and/or 892, Clerkship in Audiology in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This is a clinical practicum course for graduate students in audiology. Principal duties will be to train and supervise graduate audiology students within the UW Speech and Hearing Clinic during direct client contact. Further responsibilities include regular evaluation of students to verify clinical skills and may include teaching in the area of audiology as needed. The clinical faculty member will participate in departmental meetings, committees, and events such as student orientation as needed.
