Job Description Summary:

Draper is seeking a Product Support Assistant with understanding in the five following areas: production support, inventory management, materials resource planning, facility, and calibration management. This role will require the individual to be flexible and able to adapt to multiple program/lab needs. This role requires on-site work done in a lab environment.

Production support: Tracking electronic assembly builds, update & provide travelers and work orders to technicians, update quality control spreadsheets on production status and process changes.
Inventory management: Tracking chemicals, limited life materials, and other materials and consumables.
Work with senior production support and facility lead personnel on:
Materials Resource Planning/management: Inventory control, keep track of material needs, obtain quotes for supplies and materials & submit purchase orders to buyers. Follow through on orders from item receipt, incoming inspection, and stocking items.
Facility Management: Help manage preventative maintenance, order parts and schedule maintenance.
Calibration management: Work with internal calibration lab to ensure equipment calibration is up to date, coordinate transfer of equipment between work area and calibration lab, escort calibration lab personnel for on-site calibration and ESD bench certification.

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities
* Responsible for routing, documenting and coordinating shipments to customers, carriers and/or various corporate departments.
* Files claims against carriers for losses, damages and/or overcharges, and audits freight bills.
* Tracks material needs, obtain quotes for supplies and materials & submit purchase orders to buyers.
* Tracks and ships hazardous material and ensures compliance to Federal regulations.
* Coordinates import/export requirements for products.
* Coordinates preventative maintenance, orders parts, and ensures equipment calibration is up to date.
* Schedules photography or other support functions as needed for documentation of hardware processes and/or inspection.
* Performs date entry to update status and logistics coordination.
* Communicates with leads and program managers on task activities and status.
* Performs yearly audits, supporting annual classified hardware inventory per government requirement.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate Degree preferred.

Experience
1-3 years experience in military supply, and logistics or traffic analysis

Additional Job Description:
