Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Designs, develops, operates, and maintains software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering scientific and manufacturing requirements.
  • Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and produces such as laboratory simulations systems, airplane flight control and display systems, avionics mechanical and electrical systems, weapons armament commercial and military aircraft systems mobile and ground-based defense systems space systems and other systems and applications of this nature.
  • Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel.
  • The engineer will be responsible for software requirements, design, and development for embedded Missile software subsystems.
  • The candidate will work within a Scrum Agile development process and collaborate with team members.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $92.55/hr.

Hours: 4/10A-1st Shift.

Length: Temp (12 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 6 years of Embedded Software Development experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in Embedded C++.
  • Minimum of 6 years of UML/Modeling experience.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Embedded C++ version 11 or higher.
  • Missile software development.
  • CMake.
  • GitLab CI/CD.
  • Automated testing/frameworks.
  • VxWorks 7.
  • Xilinx SoC Development.
  • ARM Development.
  • JIRA/Confluence.
  • Agile Development.
  • Whole software life cycle development experience.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance.
