Facilities Coordinator

Acara Solutions is hiring an experienced Facilities Coordinator for our client in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a full-time, direct hire position.

Here's what you'd do:

• Responsible for making sure that the entire building is kept clean and neat.
• Maintain and clean all work areas in the manufacturing area including the lunch areas.
• Keep the front of the building and parking areas clean of debris.
• Order all cleaning supplies when needed through the Purchasing department.
• Clean and maintain all rest rooms in the building.
• Assist other departments on an as needed basis.
• Drive company truck for pickups and tow truck when needed.
• Set up for meetings and Company functions.
• Maintain all scrap containers in the plant.
• Other functions as directed.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $18 - $20/hr. based on experience

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, 100% onsite in Cincinnati

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years in a janitorial/facilities maintenance role within a manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred qualifications:

• Be able to identify work process problems and possible solutions.
• Communicate verbally and/or in writing with other employees, other departments and supervision as to work in progress, problems and/or completion.
• Be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide basic numbers.

Physical Demands: Stand for prolonged periods of time on concrete floor. Will be required to kneel, squat, stoop, recline, climb, crawl, and/or bend on an as needed basis. Must be able to adjust visual focus. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted, over 70 lbs with assistance of a lifting device.

Work Environment: Traditional shop atmosphere. Subject to temperature variance based on season. Loud noise level. May be exposed to various fumes or smells based on job.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Required to wear and/or use safety equipment/ devices based on position. Must be able to work O.T. on an extended basis up to 50-60 /wk total.
