Job Description * Applications are accepted electronically ONLY at www.cu.edu/cu-careers * As a member of the University Communications department, within the Creative Content team, the Creative Content Writer produces content that supports the university's strategic goals and mission, and enhances the university's brand, reputation, and identity as a leading academic and research institution. The ideal candidate is a multimedia storyteller who is passionate about sharing authentic voices in a variety of mediums, including print, digital, and social formats. They will demonstrate a commitment to equity and uphold university values. In this role, the Creative Content Writer will be responsible for writing content to produce articles, marketing materials, eComms, websites, and other products. They will be a dedicated storyteller that has experience connecting with different audiences in a variety of platforms. The ideal candidate will excel at managing multiple projects and telling stories that matter. They will join a team of creative thinkers, including graphic design, video, editing, internal comms, and more, who thrive on collaboration and finding the best strategy for sharing information with our community, enhancing the university's brand, and supporting our learners. The Creative Content Writer will be an organized, collaborative individual who can thrive in a deadline-driven environment and have strong project management skills. They should possess excellent communications skills, including interviewing, and a proven ability to distill complex topics in creative, accessible ways. Creative Content Writer What you will do:

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
