The QC Virology Technician I will ensure in-process materials and final product are tested in a manner consistent with Standard Operating Procedures and in compliance with regulations according to 9CFR.
* Conduct titrations, inactivation assurance, identity, and extraneous agent testing for in-process materials and final product * Conduct testing described above in tissue culture or chicken embryos * Preparing media and reagents for testing * Perform mathematical calculations by using Reed-Muench method * Performed tasks using aseptic technique to avoid contamination * Document results concurrently and legible when performed * Report any Out of Specification results * Routine lab maintenance and cleaning * Assure QC records are accurate, and compliant

* Basic knowledge of Virology * Must have great aseptic technique * Must work well with a team * Basic skills with databases and word processing programs
Education - bachelor's degree in microbiology, Veterinary Science or equivalent Work Experience - Prefer 1 year in Quality Control or relevant lab experience Other - N/A
