The Role

At SoFi, we're on a mission to help our members get their money right, and become a Top 10 Financial institution. We're seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and delivery of a set of horizontal platforms and services within the Fraud, Risk, Operations and Support Technology services product suite to support our ever-growing member and business needs. Specifically, we are looking for a platform product manager to help drive the evolution of our fraud risk transaction architecture, fraud operations & investigative tooling, risk signals integrations & feature store, and restrictions and permissions platforms. The tools and capabilities you build will empower our fraud risk partners and extended product engineering teams to embrace and adopt these platforms.

As a key cross-functional player, you will collaborate closely with your Engineering, Product, & Design teammates, and other Engineering leaders and Product Managers from a wide range of Business Units, to set a vision, define priorities, manage trade offs, execute an ambitious agenda, and be accountable to results reported at the executive level.

What You'll Do:



  • Create and articulate a comprehensive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product area, aligning with SoFi's broader objectives.
  • Deeply understand internal customer use cases, industry trends, and business drivers to identify and advocate for new opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and stakeholders through the product life cycle, from initial concept to high-quality delivery.
  • Effectively balance member, business, and technical goals with available resources to maximize impact.
  • Drive alignment and build trust with cross-functional stakeholders and across organizations within SoFi.
  • Champion a platform-first approach by building services that are easily adopted by our partners without requiring customization.
  • Promote a strong product culture by developing frameworks and implementing process improvements.


What You'll Need:



  • 5+ years of product management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Strong ownership, with a proactive, results-oriented approach to your work.
  • Ability to understand and discuss integrated systems and APIs with engineers
  • Familiarity with fraud risk detection, prevention, and mitigation programs and best practices.
  • Empathetic customer-first mindset, to be the voice of the customer in shipping optimal fraud operations products.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp complex user scenarios, technical concepts, and business drivers to make well-informed decisions.
  • Keen attention to detail and proficiency in distilling complex issues.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with and manage cross-functional groups of stakeholders.


Nice to Have:



  • Familiarity with payment processing and money movement.
  • Exposure to Fraud Operations and Investigations methodologies

Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and location.
