Are you an experienced Network Engineer seeking your next challenging mission? AMERICAN SYSTEMS is looking for your expertise to drive excellence as our next Network Engineer III, supporting a U.S. Government National Priority Program in Dallas, TX!

As an on-site Network Engineer III, you will:

  • Collaborate with field teams at remote locationsinstalling and configuring equipment in accordance with national policies and guidelines.

A Week in the Life of an on-site Network Engineer III:



  • Configure and troubleshoot Enterprise-level Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to protect data and control access to the US Government customer's classified network.
  • Install and configure Cisco router and switches.
  • Troubleshoot Cisco routing/switching, VMware, and VPN issues.
  • Coordinate on-site with remote users to install/configure equipmentand troubleshoot remote Network layer 2 and layer 3 issues..
  • Propose enhancements to improve performance and reduce costs of maintaining a compliant network.
  • Interface with senior management and their vendors' technical personnel.
  • Allowed to workindependently or semi-independentlywithminimum guidance or direction.

Job Requirements

  • TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelors Degree (highly desired)
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Minimum of 7 years of networking experience
  • Experience with Cisco ISE configuration and troubleshooting, Cisco router, switches, and firewalls
  • Experience troubleshooting Network layer 2 and layer 3
  • Candidates with CCNP,CCIE, and/or a Bachelors Degree will be given preferential consideration.


NOTE: This is an onsite position based in Dallas, TX, with no telework possibilities.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is $130,000- $140,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
