Responsibilities
- The ECMO Specialist functions independently following standing ECMO orders and parameters while
- under the direction of the ECMO Physician and ECMO APP.
- This role involves providing expert care to critically ill patients, ensuring optimal functioning of the ECMO circuit, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Additionally, you will be actively involved in research, education, and precepting as part of the program's development.

- Active certification with the state of Texas upon hire only. Recertification upon expiration
- Perfusion - Certified to practice as a Perfusionist by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (preferred) in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited education program
