The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in theoretical and computational condensed matter physics in the research group of Zhehao Dai. Candidates should have experience with condensed matter theory or numerical methods for quantum manybody systems.

Position Details:

The position is funded for two years and potentially one more year with mutual agreement. The position involves research on strongly correlated states in condensed matter systems and quantum computers/simulators. Annual salary starts at $60,000 with annual raises. Benefits include health/dental/vision coverage as well as optional access to other university benefits. Start date is negotiable but preferably no later than September 1, 2025. Application deadline is December 20, 2024.

. A PhD in Physics or related fields
