Statisticians & Biostatisticians (Psychiatry Research) University of Pittsburgh, Department of Psychiatry Pittsburgh, United States Job description Multiple full-time faculty positions at the assistant professor level are available within the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh for statistics and biostatistics researchers with a wide range of statistical expertise. Successful candidates will have an interest in: 1. Conducting their own funded independent research (applied and/or methodological developments in statistics with applications in Psychiatry and related disciplines); and 2. Engaging in statistical collaborations with clinical/scientific investigators who direct internationally recognized research programs in multiple domains of psychiatry. Primary selection criteria are a history of productivity and collaboration, as well as the ability to enhance an interactive and dynamic research community within and across departments in the greater Pittsburgh academic environment. Successful candidates will be provided with resources and support to successfully develop their careers. They will join a vibrant and highly collaborative research community with a long history of excellence in basic, translational, and clinical research.
