Research Assistant or Associate Professor (Appointment Stream) The Department of Health Policy & Management and the Health Policy Institute at the University of Pittsburgh are seeking a health policy researcher for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Research Assistant or Research Associate Professor (Appointment Stream) to conduct Medicaid policy research. The successful candidate will conduct timely, policy-relevant research to inform key policy decisions surrounding the organization and financing of the state's Medicaid program. Candidates should have an understanding of the populations served by Medicaid as well as an interest or expertise in Medicaid policy research. Candidates will be expected to have expertise with quantitative or qualitative methods in applied policy work; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and experience working in a collaborative research environment. The individual filling this position will be expected to conduct rigorous policy analyses in a team-based environment and report on those analyses to government officials and professional audiences, as well as summarize the results of analyses for peer-reviewed publication. Funding for this position is supported by a contract with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.
