Research Assistant Professor The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, the Department of Neurology is currently accepting applications for full-time doctoral-level faculty researchers. A Ph.D., MD, or DO in Sciences or Medicine is required. Academic rank and compensation package will be commensurate with experience. This research faculty position will be responsible for managing all aspects of one or more projects with focus on research in epilepsy and women's health, as well as an NINDS-funded R25 research training program for residents in Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Neuropathology. This position will oversee all aspects of the project life cycles, and provide leadership, technical direction, coordination, and expertise across projects. This position will also contribute to the writing of research proposals, progress reports, and manuscripts, and require communication with multiple co-investigators and collaborators. Knowledge of the NIH grant submission process is preferred. This non-tenure stream position will be at the research assistant professor level, depending on qualifications. Candidate must have academic credentials appropriate for faculty appointment at the University of Pittsburgh. Hiring is contingent upon eligibility to work in the United States.
