Wage Range: $30.40 - $48.63 per hour


Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

This position will drive to patients living in the following assigned WA state cities: Edmonds and Everett.

Job Summary:
The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in the home setting is responsible for providing treatment programs designed to return patients to their optimum functional level, in coordination with other team members. Supervision must be performed by a registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) every 30 days.
Primary Duties:
  1. Carries out the treatment plan established by an OTR and notifies OTR of changes in residents condition or needs.
  2. Provides occupational therapy intervention based on the individualized treatment plan and established priorities. Assumes responsibility for initiating changes in procedure and techniques as it relates to individual needs of the resident.
  3. Intervention may include the need to design, fabricate, select, and fit prosthetic, orthotic and self-help devices, per treatment plan of OTR.
  4. Performs other duties as assigned.

License, Certification, Education or Experience:

REQUIRED for the position:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant in the State of Washington

  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire
  • Current Washington State Drivers license and proof of insurability
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire
  • Reliable transportation

    DESIRED for the position:

    • 2 years in acute care and/or rehabilitation center experience
    • Membership in a professional organization
    • Certification in area of specialty
