We are seeking a proactive HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our HR Capability team in Troy, MI. In this role, you will partner closely with business leaders to provide strategic HR support, drive performance, and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture. This role is ideal for a skilled HR professional passionate about building strong relationships, driving talent development, and implementing innovative HR practices that support organizational growth and transformation.
What You Will Do * Build Strategic Partnerships: Act as a trusted partner to business leaders, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. Leverage strategic HR insights to ensure the right talent is in the right roles and support cultural alignment across the organization. * Talent Development and Retention: Empower, motivate, and develop talent, supporting retention efforts and driving organizational success. Partner with leaders to implement change management and development strategies that foster career growth and meet organizational needs. * Employee Relations and Change Management: Champion constructive dialogue, creating a supportive and engaging work environment. Proactively address employee relations issues to ensure a positive and values-driven workplace. * Manage HR Programs: Oversee and coordinate HR programs, including Leave of Absence (LOA) management, ensuring alignment with global mobility processes as necessary. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness and support employee needs. * Advisory Support: Provide guidance on compensation and benefits in alignment with organizational goals, focusing on partnering with the business rather than building programs from scratch. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HRBP or equivalent role, supporting senior leaders and aligning HR strategies with business objectives. * Proven expertise in talent management, including workforce planning, performance development, and succession planning in a multi-location or matrixed environment. * Strong experience in employee relations and conflict resolution, with a track record of handling complex issues constructively. * Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data management and presentation. What Will Put You Ahead * Experience supporting manufacturing teams in geographically dispersed or multi-site environments. * Familiarity with HR metrics and data analysis to drive informed decision-making and provide insights to leadership. * Experience in change management, particularly in dynamic or evolving organizational settings.
