We have wide reaching impact into both onboard and off-board system architecture, paving the way for future-looking deep-learning-based explorations. In this hybrid role, you will report to an Engineering Manager. You will: Develop foundational frameworks and software architectures that help advancement of the Waymo Driver's capabilities. Meet with a Hiring Manager after onsite interviews to identify which of the jobs we have available match best with your skillset. You have: 2+ years of Software Engineering experience in Python or C++ AV, Robotics, Eval or Applied ML experience, contributing to live, production systems Aligned with Waymo's values and behaviors We prefer: Proficiency in C++ Formal schooling in Computer Science, Robotics, Math, Physics, Statistics or similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience #LI-Hybrid Benefits such as healthcare, family leave, retirement plans, and dental/vision insurance will be shared by your recruiter. The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
