Description Maine Medical Center Fully Remote The Tumor Registrar role is responsible for the identification, collection, and management of health, medical, and outcome information on all oncology patients by abstracting and coding specific patient, cancer, and treatment information from numerous sources and maintaining and updating existing patient records annually. **MUST hold a current Oncology Data Specialist Certificate.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: Associate's Degree in Biomedical, Medical Technician or Medical Records or equivalent work experience in medical coding or cancer registry required. 2. License/Certifications: Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) Certification required. 3. Experience: Relevant healthcare experience preferred. 4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A 5.
