The University of Minnesota Crookston, one of five campuses comprising the University of Minnesota system, invites applications for a full-time faculty member to teach classes in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Education Department (HSSE) in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. The ideal candidate will also be qualified to teach Special Education. Responsibilities The HSSE Department seeks a tenure-track faculty candidate who will join our teacher education unit and carry a full-time load of twelve credits per semester. The candidate will teach courses in early childhood education and elementary education. The UMN Crookston Teacher Education Unit is accredited by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB). In addition, the campus features an Early Childhood Development Center which is a state-of-the-art teacher training laboratory for education majors. A tenure-track appointment carries a 24.0 credit hour workload per academic year, distributed over the fall and spring semesters. Qualifications
