About The American Indian and Indigenous Studies Program The American Indian and Indigenous Studies Program (AIISP) at Cornell University, part of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, facilitates a collaborative community between AIIS faculty, students and staff through coursework, scholarship and research, rich cultural and academic programming and student retention services. The AIISP also assists in a range of research-based and programmatic activities with partnerships across Cornell to support the interests of Indigenous peoples locally and globally. The Opportunity The AIISP Administrative Assistant supports the Associate Director, Director, and Department Business Administrator by providing comprehensive administrative assistance. This role involves managing program administration, coordinating events and meetings, assisting with courses, and handling communications. Key Responsibilities Program Administrative Support:

This is a full-time, contract position (39 hours per week) based fully on-site in Ithaca, NY. The regular schedule is Monday to Friday, generally from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with final hours determined by the supervisor. Evening and weekend shifts will be required to support special events.
