Job Summary:
The Jason Peters Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (https://sites.google.com/wisc.edu/jasonpeterslab/home) is seeking a candidate for our Researcher position to help us address two of the greatest threats to global health: antibiotic resistance and climate change. In the Peters Lab, we develop cutting edge approaches to bacterial genetics and apply them at the genome-scale to identify new weaknesses in pathogens and to improve the efficiency of biofuel production strains. Our work is funded by multiple agencies (e.g., NIH, ARPA-H and DOE), and we collaborate with scientists at the top of their fields.
