The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, College of Arts & Sciences

Job Description

The successful candidate will teach both lecture and laboratory courses in introductory chemistry, physical chemistry, and analytical chemistry. This will include some teaching in our robust evening program. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the advising of undergraduate chemistry majors and to other departmental and university service.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
* PhD in chemistry (completed by August 2025)
* Background in physical or analytical chemistry
* Experience teaching (as an instructor of record or TA) undergraduate chemistry
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting the success of students from diverse backgrounds through teaching and mentorship.
