Position Summary:

The Product Operations Support Specialist II will direct and coordinate activities assisting the Manager as assigned. They will work closely with Product Mangers (PM's) supporting the requirements of the sales business units. Manage and maintain all PM related products and property. Handle various communications and updates to both internal and external groups regarding ongoing projects CPM Is managing. Aid in product related inquiries from business units, support the PM team with request from sales operations. Assist the team with active projects and requests as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Support PMs with part service/support across respective lines.
  • Support PMs in end user research and testing to ensure that customer needs are meet.
  • Responsible for pricing service components across all sales channels.
  • Aligns OEM strategy and pricing to compliment inline offerings.
  • Ownership of part service/support across respective lines.
  • Track and monitor incoming and existing PM inventory.
  • Possess Moderate level knowledge of all Sig Sauer products.
  • Maintain, manage, clean, and keep all PM products in proper from, fit, and function.
  • Manage events and demos for PM and sales units.
  • Handle Government Furnished Equipment, ATF, and compliance related duties.
  • Host meetings with business units to provide updates on current PM projects.
  • Test products to ensure they meet business units' specifications.
  • Recognizes accessories such as grips, optical sights, slings, safety options, and how to configure properly.
  • Perform general maintenance on products and update new components.
  • Understands loading, feeding, extracting and ejection mechanisms, overall gun assembly and function.
  • Support PMs in end user research and testing to ensure that customer needs are meet.
  • Stock out and transact products, Enter T&E Orders.
  • Attend meetings with engineering and PMs to understand the scope and requirements of projects and opportunities.
  • Perform Agile and Oracle Functions in Support of PM's.
  • Work with outside vendors on new products that need to be evaluated.
  • Certified armorer across product lines.


Education/Experience & Skills:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of directly related experience in the firearms environment/industry
  • Military background preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Business discipline preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Emphasis on Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • 1+ years' experience working in PLM system highly desirable.


Working Conditions:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
