Responsibilities

We currently have a great opportunity available for a Service Center System Specialist I. The Service Center System Specialist I position will have responsibility of assembling and installing Sysmex Automation systems that are built in the Internal Service Center. This position also includes traveling to customer sites to perform pre-site inspections prior to the assembly of the system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Maintain the process for the inventory and shipping of instrumentation and all necessary parts to successfully support the SNAP program.
  1. Maintain and conform to all procedures and documentation to meet regulatory and ISO guidelines.
  2. Verify that all essential components and instrumentation included in the XN Automation System Build.
  3. Pre-Build XN/UN Automation Systems following all Quality and Manufacturing processes.
  4. Prepare and Pack XN/UN Automation Systems for shipment to customer sites.
  5. Travel to customer sites to perform a pre-site making sure all documentation is completed.
  6. Perform remote pre-sites with local Service Engineer making sure documentation is completed.
  7. Travel to customer sights to install XN/UN Automation Systems.
  8. Verify installed XN/UN Automation and complete all installation documentation.
  9. Other duties as assigned.

Percentage of Travel: Up to 75%



Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED degree or 3 years required experience in Electrical, Hydraulics, or Mechanics including experience in the Armed Forces. Associates or Trade School degree Preferred.
  • Experience in electronics, laboratory or biomedical technology, military experience in a technical field or equivalent.
  • Field Experience preferred.
  • Electronics Experience.
  • Customer Skills.
  • Interface experience a plus.
  • Proficient in English
  • MS Skills.
  • Be able to explain and interpret complex information that requires patience and understanding.
