Description

Role Summary:

This person will be performing infotainment test coordination for connected infotainment testing. They should be familiar with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and schedule planning tools such as MS Project.

The activities include building test schedules to meet the needs of various simultaneous projects, and balancing the needs of the projects and the teams to allocate the necessary test assets and testers to meet the challenging schedules supporting the connected infotainment systems development.

Role Responsibilities:

Test Activity Planning



  • Creates and maintains project schedules for each project to ensure on-time deliveries of test results to customers
  • Allocates test assets and testers to activities on a daily basis to ensure successful delivery of results
  • Builds and maintains strong connection to project counterparts in Germany and US
  • Assists with root causes of problems issues


Support for Chattanooga Factory Issues



  • Supports with analysis of infotainment topics during ID4 pre-series and series programs at the Chattanooga Factory



Qualifications

Qualifications:

Years of Experience:



  • 5-8 years of related engineering experience


Education:

Required - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent

Desired - Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering

Skills:



  • Resource management
  • Schedule Planning
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason, creative and strategic
  • Communication skills - interpersonal, presentation and written
  • Integration - joining people, processes or systems
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • German skills written and verbal are advantageous


Specialized Skills - Required:



  • Experience with developing automotive electrical control modules
  • Building up of work schedules and activities to meet the timelines of infotainment test projects
  • Firm grasp of balancing resources (test assets and labor) to meet the test requirements of the various projects


Specialized Skills - Desired:



  • Experience with developing infotainment systems, architectures, and system interconnects
  • Experience specifying SW Architectures and Features
  • Experience in connected services and connected application development


Work Flexibility:



  • Travel to the suppliers and the R&D departments in Germany
