Facilities Lead

Advantest America is the North American subsidiary of Advantest Corporation, the world's largest provider of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) to the semiconductor industry. Advantest Test Solutions, Inc. (ATS) is looking for a Facilities Lead to join our team in Lake Forest, CA. ATS is a leading provider of massively parallel electronic test systems that includes System Level Test (SLT), burn in and semiconductor/module tests. ATS has an exciting line of high-performance test systems that support the semiconductor industry around the world. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, proactive, hands-on and able to work successfully in a stimulating engineering and manufacturing environment. This is an on-site role, located at Advantest Test Solutions in Lake Forest, CA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:




  • Responsible for overseeing building cleaning and maintenance tasks of contractors and/or staff.
  • Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots, and outdoor spaces.
  • Plan and execute various projects with limited supervision.
  • Monitor and perform routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs, as needed.
  • Responsible for scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
  • Ensure proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors, or a team of security professionals.
  • Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders to contractors.
  • Create reports and maintain records on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences for managers and other relevant staff with the ability to present clearly when needed.
  • Prepare facilities and equipment for changing weather conditions.
  • Collaborate with building owners or landlords and upper management on budgeting for facility's needs.
  • Member of the ATS Safety/EHS committee and participate in the ISO Environmental standard 14001. Participate in the environmental sustainability initiatives and other certifications or accreditations.
  • Participate in the ATS BCP (Business continuity plan) team and attend trainings & meetings.
  • Lead the 5S Program for ATS.
  • Assist with Logistics during Company meetings and other company events.
  • All other duties as assigned.
