General Summary:
The Capacity Planning Manager is responsible for the production, inventory, and sourcing strategy within their portion of the Campbell's Network. They will lead a team of Capacity Planners as they create a long range 24-month production plan each week for all manufacturing lines that supports forecasted demand and ensure that the production plan is feasible considering all relevant capacity constraints. The Capacity Planning Manager owns the creation of an inventory plan that minimizes working capital, operational costs, and write-offs while meeting or exceeding customer service targets.

What you will do...
* Ensure the Capacity Planners are creating a constrained/feasible production plan for all manufacturing lines in their network that meets the forecasted customer demand.
* Own documenting drivers for any significant changes to the production and inventory plans each week and communicate any risks to financial targets.
* Collaborate with internal supply chain partners to manage downstream impacts of weekly production plan. (Warehousing space, raw materials, working capital, production maintenance)
* Identify constrained areas within the network that require external support to meet business needs.
* Work cross functionally to bring tradeoff decisions needed to business team when demand exceeds capacity.
* Lead annual run strategy meetings with Plant Operations teams to ensure that all constraints are accounted for and align on a plan that maximizes operational efficiency without risking other key metrics.
* Provide key inputs to the Campbell's Annual Operating Plan and monthly financial projection process including projected production, inventory, and interplant movements.
* Ensure the Capacity Planners are maintaining flow rates and all planning master data inputs for accurate short and long-term planning.
* Complete scenario planning and report results as needed for projects and special requests.
* Lead monthly collaboration calls with plant operations, demand, and customer teams.
* Serve as a power user/expert on Planning systems and processes ensuring the Capacity Planning team is following best practices while also identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.
* Train and develop Capacity Planners so they can perform their duties with a high level of accuracy and efficiency and drive positive business results.

What you bring to the table...

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 4+ years of supply planning experience required

It would be great if you have...

  • 5+ years of supply chain planning experience
  • SAP AOP or SAP ECC experience preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$103,700-$149,000

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
