PurposeThe global strategies specialist reports to the director of global alumni relations in the Office of the Senior Vice Provost for Global Engagement (OSVPGE) and assists the global strategies officers with data collection and analysis related to UTs internationalization activities on campus and abroad. The position is responsible for administrative functions such as coordinating virtual and in-person activities, inbound and outbound delegations, alumni and parent events, donor recognition ceremonies, and student engagement. Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree and three years of clerical experience, including one year of experience at either the Administrative Assistant or the Administrative Associate level, OR high school graduation or GED, and seven years of clerical experience. Demonstrated CRM experience, data collection, and analysis. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Collaborative and proactive team player with the ability to serve as an effective role model and interact with individuals at all levels of the institution and with external contacts. Demonstrated ability to problem solve, multi-task, prioritize workload, and remain organized in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment. High-level intercultural competency skills, strict adherence to confidentiality, and an ability to be a nimble task-oriented team player. Experience working and/or studying abroad; strong commitment to keeping abreast of current trends and challenges in the field of international education. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience in international education or an international field. Near native fluency (excellent writing and speaking skills) in a foreign language. Demonstrated alumni relations and event coordination experience. Advanced proficiency in CRM and database management. Hourly Rate$22.50 + depending on qualifications Working Conditions
