The Senior Executive Assistant to the EVP and General Counsel (Executive) and Legal department will provide sophisticated support through both administrative and clerical tasks and broader project coordination responsibilities. The duties will be diverse and require incredible attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and impeccable integrity. We are seeking someone who is efficient, focused, detail-oriented and who will enhance the productivity and success of the Executive and the Legal department. This is a remote position with travel (10-25%). Executive Assistant Responsibilities:
- Manage the Executive's calendar to ensure appropriate time, prioritization, and attention is allocated accordingly to maximize productivity and efficiency. This includes scheduling meetings and revising the schedule as needed, arranging logistics, organizing appropriate supporting materials and files, updating relevant shared calendars, etc.
- Anticipates needs and proactively facilitates appropriate people and other resources to address those needs.
- Act as the liaison with external contacts, such as those from law firms, industry associations, and others. Prioritize and route communications appropriately.
- Draft presentations, organizational announcements, corporate communications, memos, reports, and other materials to be utilized by the Executive and Legal department with diverse audiences, ranging from employee groups to the Board of Directors. Proofread all materials to ensure accuracy.
- Plan and coordinate onboarding and offboarding of Executive's direct reports and/or Legal department team members.
- Coordinate travel, including travel and accommodations research and booking; partner with travel agency representatives as needed.
- Coordinate team and departmental meetings, including weekly Legal Leadership Team meetings, special interest topical meetings, department-wide meetings, and others as needed.
- Plan and coordinate in-person meetings, including location research and selection, agreement negotiation and coordination, meeting room and AV set up, food and beverage planning, and billing.
- Complete administrative tasks to support Executive and Legal department, such as: expense reports, office supply orders, invoice processing, file maintenance, distribution of departmental mail received at Company locations, coordination of notarization and legalization of documents, etc.
- At the request of the Executive, provide administrative support to other department members as assigned .
- At the request of the Executive, plan and coordinate special projects, which may include collaboration with Legal Operations team and/or other departments (examples may include projects related to law firm management, matter management, electronic billing and report generation, contract management systems, and subsidiary management).
- Exhibits a willingness and aptitude for learning new computer software and other specified administrative systems, as required, to support the goals of the Legal department and organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, paralegal degree, or equivalent
- 5 years related work experience, preferably in roles such as executive assistant, legal assistant, project coordinator, or another similar position.

This position is not eligible for employer based sponsorship. Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range is 60,000-95,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
