JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resource Coordinator reports to the Human Resources Director and works collaboratively with other team members to coordinate and complete assigned human resource processes for all agency locations.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Provides quality customer service by responding to requests and questions in a timely manner using a variety of communication formats (phone, text, e-mail, etc.).
  2. Coordinates and administers assigned human resource processes in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Provides support to human resource team members as assigned.
  4. Conducts audits of HR programs and recommends corrective action as needed.
  5. Coordinates processing and data entry of new hires, transfers and terminations.
  6. Coordinates and administers performance review process in the HCMS.
  7. Utilizes the HCMS, Learning Management System and other databases and software to complete assigned tasks.Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  8. Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  9. Think and act quickly and effectively in emergencies.
  10. Will drive on Agency business as needed.
  11. Physical presence at the office is required.



    ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS



    1. Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
    2. At least two years of related experience required.
    3. SHRM-CP credential preferred.
    4. Ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels in the organization.
    5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    6. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    8. Working knowledge of human resource management principles.
    9. Basic knowledge of California and Federal employment regulations.
    10. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    12. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Office 365, Teams, Zoom and other communication/meeting platforms.
    13. Proficient with UKG HCMS or other HCMS, and Relias Learning Management System or other LMS.
    14. Ability to become proficient in web based software platforms (i.e., Relias, UKG, Canva, Vyond, etc.) through online training.
    15. Self-motivated and inquisitive with a proven work ethic and proactive approach.
    16. Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels within an organization; ability to manage incoming requests quickly and professionally in a fast-paced environment.
    17. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet Company needs.
    18. Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a dependable means of transportation that is properly insured and operated in accordance with all laws. Agency insurer authorization is required.
    19. Ability to pass a criminal background check.
    20. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.


    COMPANY BENEFITS:



    • Pay Range: Class 123 ($19.71 - $25.94/hour)
