*The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors.

How You'll Perform the Role

Primary Responsibilities



  • Monitoring - Support the strategic development and execution of a standardized post-entry review program in coordination with the ITC Manager. Objective is to help ensure accuracy of our import declarations that are filed by customs brokers on company's behalf.
  • Work with the customs brokers to resolve issues with import transactions detected during the standardized post-entry reviews.
  • Support the ITC Manager with the monitoring and management of the company's Section 232 exclusions program for Aluminum importers.
  • Under the direction of the ITC Manager, provide critical support for audit defense activities including data collection and analysis.
  • On a streaming basis, maintain efficient recordkeeping of import and export transactions within the ITC's document management system.
  • Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of desk procedures to support functional areas of responsibility as needed.
  • Serve as backup for the ITC Restricted Party Screening (RPS) activities.
  • Execute internal reviews as assigned, such as HTS reviews of the parts databases, FTA/certificate of origin reviews, annual reviews of ITC procedures, and so forth
  • Proactively escalate service, process, data, and other concerns to ITC Manager. Assists in identifying and implementing solutions.
  • Ensure all assigned compliance-related problems and issues are addressed timely and correctly.
  • Special projects - Provide key support (e.g., data analysis) to the ITC department with monitoring/post-entry projects as assigned to help ensure the success of implementation and/or completion of the project.



What We Need From You

  • 2-6+ years of core international trade compliance experience working for an importer or customs broker
  • 4 year degree
  • The Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) credential is a plus
  • Minimal travel. There may be the occasional team meeting, plant tour, and/or compliance conference, e.g., 1 trip total per year
