The Permitting Specialist II/III/IV responsibilities include but arenot limited to:
- Ensures all site development permits, licenses, and clearances are obtained for upstream projects, with a focus on compiling all relevant information needed for WV/OH drilling applications.
- Experience with County and Local township/agencies for other operational permits such as Sewage permits, Zoning applications, etc.
- Managing multiple vendors to assist in completion of projects
- Works with Land, Drilling, Operations Planning, and others to ensure applications accurately reflects drilling plans.
- Ensures all permit applications are submitted far enough in advance of operations so no delays to our master operating schedule occurs.
- Communicates operational busts if permitting submittal & issuance thresholds are exceeded.
- Ensures all permitting jobs and work orders are accurate within our digital working environment.
- Assists in the development of project plans with emphasis on constructability, schedule, and costs by working with EQT Land, Environmental, Procurement and Engineering teams
- Provides field data used to develop project plans and assists others in working with EQT Land, Environmental, Procurement and Engineering teams
- Furnishes relevant data to others for completing management reports
- Creates and maintains project specific documentation during and following completion of the job
- Achieves all EQT safety goals and milestones for all projects
- Completes budgets on time and within budget guidelines
Required Experience and Skills:
- 7+ years relative experience, with previous experience in construction and natural gas related industry preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental, or Geology preferred
- Experience working within the regulatory environments of PA, WV, and OH including but not limited to Erosion and Sediment Control, Stormwater Management, Stream and Wetland encroachment, Roadway Crossing, Endangered Species Consultation, Municipal Zoning and Planning.

Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states:Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Louisiana, New Jersey, and New York unless willing to relocate. Due to regular site visits, the selected candidate must be able to drive to the West Virginia area within 24 hours.
Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
