Description

Acara Solutions is seeking a direct hire Master Scheduler to join a medical manufacturer in Salem, Virginia.

Location: Salem, VA - 100% onsite
Type: Direct hire

Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the company's values, adhering to safety, environmental, security, and quality standards including FDA regulations and company policies.
  • Develop a master Kanban schedule to align with delivery dates, production capacity, and available resources.
  • Monitor in-progress orders and making adjustments to maintain schedule compliance.
  • Prepare and share regular reports on safety stock and delivery performance.
  • Manage planning bills of materials for relevant products.
  • Lead efficiency and process improvements, working with IT on system enhancements.
  • Act as an internal customer service liaison and coordinates facility sales and operations planning.
  • Perform other related tasks as needed.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience using MRP/ERP computer systems
  • Minimum of 3 years scheduling/forecasting experience
  • Proven experience and understanding of Kanban Market Systems
