Electromechanical Technician

The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for the installation and repair of production and facility equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • As a vital member of our maintenance team, you will be required to install, troubleshoot, and repair complex manufacturing equipment; rubber molding machinery, metal forming, assembly, and test equipment.
  • Working from maintenance schedules, use detailed drawings, schematics, specifications, verbal and written instruction, locate and diagnose equipment failures ensuring timely corrective action. Perform routine preventative maintenance on online manufacturing equipment.
  • Follows company safety policies and performs work while maintaining NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA


(National Fire Protection Association), and OSHA compliance.



  • Able to repair and troubleshoot AC/DC circuits, lighting, motors, valve actuators, control panel wiring, soft starts,


PLCs, variable frequency drives, etc.



  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Mechanical Knowledge and ability to include lubrication, power train and bearing maintenance, motor, and gearbox replacement.
  • Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams and ladder logic.
  • Performs mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance as required.
  • Assists in the assembly and dismantling of production machinery.
  • Maintains an accurate record of completed assignments.
  • Able to complete work reports in Computerized Maintenance Management Software
  • Keeps management informed of machinery and facility problems.


Requirements:



  • 5+ years' experience as a licensed electrician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous Electro-Mechanical experience and aptitude. Journeyman Electrician's License
  • 5+ years' experience working in a production plant in production and maintenance.
  • Minor fabrication experience and strong mechanical maintenance skills.
  • Proficiency with electronics and electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, and gearboxes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the position.
  • US citizenship or Permanent Residency Required
