Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Oldsmar, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
  • Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts and uses hand or power tools, jigs, and saws.
  • Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
  • Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
  • Uses microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually aligns parts before soldering, and performs post-re-flow inspection and touch-up.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $24.00/ hr.

Hours: 4/10 hrs/Week (2nd shift)

Length: Contract (12 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in surface mount and fine-pitch soldering.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Blueprint Reading.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in SMT/IPC-A-610/IPC-J-STD.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Able to identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts/leads, tombstones, and or billboards.ed components and any out-solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation.
  • Able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use several Windows-based programs as part of your daily routine.
  • Ability to work under a microscope for long periods for inspection/solder repair.
  • Able to read and interpret assembly drawings.
  • Good communication and organizational skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Able to read and write English.
  • Circuit Cards.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment where some overtime is needed.
  • Able to sit for long periods and focus on tedious tasks.
