LSSI is hiring afull-timeTherapeutic Foster CareCaseworker, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.As a member of the TFC staff, takes the lead on coordinating and implementing the treatment plan for a caseload of treatment foster care children and their families. Will ensure that the child's needs for safety, permanency, and wellbeing are met within the context of an evidence-based model of treatments foster care using trauma informed approach.

EssentialFunctions:
- Coordinates the implantationof an integrated service plan for all children assigned to the Treatment Foster Care program. Service plan components include daily treatment in the therapeutic foster home, as well as overall case plan goals which address the child's step-down plans, as well as permanency and well-being goals.
- Coordinates the implementation of service plan components related to the child's birth family and/or step-down family.
- Completes all tasks within the context of an evidenced based model, ensuring the model is implemented with fidelity. Interventions will apply principles of social learning theory, developmental psychology and trauma-informed care.
- May co-leads weekly Foster Parent Support and Training meetings, ensuring all documentation is submitted to the TFCO Consultants
- Completes and submits all other agency required reports related to service provision.
- Completes casework requirements, including service plans, case notes, court reports and other casework and documentation as required by DCFS.
- Completes home study for potential foster parents, may be responsible for completion of all licensing documentation and recommendation.
- Participates in supervisory process for guidance, direction, support, and approval of decision-making, assessment, service planning and intervention. Presents cases for staffing or participates in staffings as needed, including weekly team meetings.
- Participates in the on-call/crisis intervention response for the TFC team.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in social work or related human services field is required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience preferred.
- Training in KEEP and/or GenerationsPMTO or availability to participate in training, coaching and fidelity to certification once hired required.
- Successful completion of CCS Bootcamp required.
- Successful completion of Client-Centered Service Planning and Aftercare Planning Training preferred.
- Experience with providing services using a team approach.
- Child Welfare Employee License (CWEL), CCA and 402 or ability to obtain.
- Training in treatment Foster Care of Oregon (TFCO) model, or available to participate in TFCO training after hired required.
- Background check clearance, both criminal and CANTS.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate children, their families and foster parents to participate in a highly detailed treatment model.
- Valid driver's license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
