Electro/Mechanical Technician with PLC

Pay Rate: $25- $35/HR

We're seeking an Engineering Technician with strong expertise in PLC programming to support, maintain, and enhance our production and R&D facilities. This role will be integral to daily operations, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement of our high-quality infrastructure, which includes aerospace-grade vacuum systems, machining, welding, brazing operations, and more

• Operational Support & Maintenance




• Set up, maintain, and support production and R&D facilities,
• Preventative maintenance of equipment such as aerospace vacuum tanks, machining systems, welding stations, brazing equipment, and X-ray inspection tools.




• Facility Management




• Oversee the maintenance and operation of essential infrastructure, including HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and LN2 facilities.
• Manage building and grounds upkeep, including snow removal, lighting, and landscaping.
• Support equipment installation, space allocation, and furniture setup to maximize facility utilization.




• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards including OSHA, ISO-9001, fire safety, and environmental health.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency in PLCs




• Proficient in PLC programming, including controller design and installation, particularly for vacuum control systems.




• Experience with Vacuum Systems
• Prior experience with general maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building maintenance.
• Prior experience with vacuum systems (low, High and UHV) systems
