Gilbane is one of the largest family-owned Construction Management firms in the country, and we are looking for a Human Resources Intern for the summer of 2025. This is a full time, paid opportunity that will give you hands-on experience in various aspects of Human Resources. This position is based at our headquarters in Providence, RI. Responsibilities As a Learning and Talent Management (L&TM) Intern at Gilbane, you will have the opportunity to combine creativity and analytics to help drive technical and soft skills training initiatives for construction professionals. You will collaborate with human resource professionals who specialize in instructional design, program administration, and project management, all while gaining experience in the following:
- Providing technical assistance to employees through a Learning Management System - Developing and evaluating learning and talent programs - Analyzing training data to drive business decisions - Creating a positive learning experience for a diverse group of employees Throughout the internship, you will also have the chance to network with senior leaders, receive feedback and coaching, and participate in fun and meaningful events. You will not only grow your skills and knowledge, but also your confidence and career prospects. Qualifications EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar degree - Prior internship experience is preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - Strong verbal/written communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office - Experience working in a fast-paced environment - Demonstrated agility/adaptability Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For Rhode Island, the pay ranges from $17.60-$26.40 per hour. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
