New York Institute of Technology seeks a Chemistry Laboratory Technician, part time, located at the New York City campus.



Responsibilities

Assist in the coordination and execution of teaching laboratory activities within the Biological and Chemical Sciences Department.

Support instructors, students and laboratory personnel in facilitating smooth laboratory operations.



Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related field is preferred.

Previous experience in working in a laboratory setting, preferably in an educational environment.

Strong knowledge of laboratory safety practices and procedures.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Position requires 20 hours a week, primarily during scheduled teaching lab sessions. Flexibility in the schedule may be required based on departmental needs.
