Patient Accounts Specialist - Insurance Follow Up Baltimore MD Pay From $20 per hour MUST: Highly skilled in patient accounts Strong insurance follow up experience, handling 60 plus claims a day Handling reconciliations/reconsiderations A/R Experience working with a payor portal such as Availity Experience processing claims Hospital Registration experience Experience with UB04 and reviewing EOB's CPT/ICD-10 coding knowledge Knowledge of collections process DUTIES: The duties of the Insurance Follow up candidate include but are not limited to the following: Resolve patient account issues Escalate payer issues Follow up with payers for reconciliations/reconsiderations Work with payer portal-Availity Handle payer follow up Review EOB's and ensure accurate CPT/ICD-10 coding Process claims Review aged reports and A/R Identify registration errors and flags accounts *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
